We All Share with Samsung
Samsung spent some of its time at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this month promoting its long-standing AllShare service. AllShare allows Samsung users to share media between their PCs and other devices. Its marketing team put together “We All Share,” a crowdsourced short film experiment.
It asked Samsung fans to take part in a global film experience to “discover what common bond brings us all together.” To join in, anyone could tag Twitter or Instagram photos with #weallshare for a chance to be included.
The trailer makes a compelling argument with a really nice soundtrack.
The strange thing is that while the trailer went pretty viral, the final product is practically offline. You can catch a recording of it on the WeAllShare website, but this was essentially a private performance for CES attendees. That makes this a fairly uncommon example of taking the social sphere offline.
