Voice-over Hire Earns Kraft Views and Good Karma

Kraft Foods has picked up a lot of good will by paying close attention to viral trends.

Earlier this month, a video debuted on YouTube showing off the talents a homeless man by the name of Ted Williams. Williams is one of many Americans having a difficult time, but he had a stroke of luck – a voice just perfect for television or radio. The video was removed from YouTube on a copyright claim, but not before it earned a lot of attention.

Someone at Kraft Foods took notice of Williams, and within days they’d given him his first voice over job. Probably the first of many. As a result, an incredibly straightforward Kraft ad has over a million views online, and a lot of positive press.
