Oreo Answers the Cookie Vs. Creme Debate


Oreo has revived the good old cookies vs. creme debate, the controversy that may not exist but does make for great marketing. That probably wouldn’t be cause for much attention, but the brand has been doing it with the help of the clever folks at Wieden+Kennedy. The team has a fascinating blog post up about the success of its Super Bowl ad and social campaign, but the follow-up campaign is just as tasty.

It answers the question that must be haunting these cookie- or creme-only Oreo fans: how do you separate the cookie from the creme without risking the whole cookie. The answer? SCIENCE.
