Nike Celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Title IX
This month saw the 40th anniversary of Title IX, the amendment that barred discrimination in education programs. It had a massive impact on women in sports, one that Nike has been celebrating over the past week.
Under the tag #MAKETHERULES, the company has hosted sporting events for women in major cities. Nike also put together a pretty amazing video that stars Olympians Marlen Esparza, Joan Benoit-Samuelson, Lisa Leslie and Diana Taurasi.
