Actually, this ad (which has gone quite viral for a television advertisement) does a fantastic job of positioning Electronic Art’s new football video game, FIFA 10, as an equivalent experience to football. If you believe the ad, the game has the same scope, thrill, and excitement as the real thing. And it’s a good bet that many of the hundreds of thousands of viewers will believe it too.
