Christmas is upon us, and the Internet is handling it like only it can – with lots of cute videos.
It might be hard to compete with the offline world’s viral classics (Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and so on), but serious attempts are being made.
On the secular side of things, American Greetings knows what we want: heartwarming tales involving adorable animals. It’s only got a few thousand views between uploads so far, but it’s trending upwards quickly.
For a more religious look at the holidays, the children’s group at St. Paul’s Church put together a sweet take on the Nativity story:
And the winner (by views) of holiday videos is another take on the Nativity, updated for today’s digital world. At over 6 million views between its English and Portuguese versions, this video (which advertises a digital media firm) is getting a lot of attention.
