Banco Sabadell Brings Cellos to a Flashmob
Allow us to give you five minutes to relax and enjoy some beautiful music, care of the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l’Òpera and Coral Belles Arts choirs. 100 members of these musical groups got together earlier this year to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the founding of Banco Sabadell.
With over a century bound up in the history of Sabadell, the bank rightfully wanted to give a little something back with this celebration. So it turned a simple street performance into a full-fledged orchestra to the delight of all who looked on.
“All who looked on,” in this case, includes over 5 million YouTube views. It’s easy to see why when Banco Sabadell has given us something very joyful to spend a few minutes with. That it’s not very convincing as a flashmob is hardly relevant when it meets the one condition that counts: surprise and delight to views and passers by.
