Any strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others, thus creating the potential for exponential growth in the message’s exposure and influence. Just like viruses, such strategies take advantage of rapid multiplication to explode the message to thousands, even to millions.

Opera, a web browser, released a video discussing a new feature: face gestures. Taking its cue from mouse gestures and voice commands, face gestures let the browser obey your every facial tic. The video has picked up over 80k views overnight.

Google has quite possibly topped previous years’ gags with CADIE, an AI that’s particularly fond of pandas and taking over the world. CADIE demonstrates the ways she’ll help users write emails, code for the web, search and more. Here she is introducing herself, in a video that’s gained over 60k hits today:
