World Square Prepares a New Year’s Extravaganza
As soon as Christmas passes us by, it will be time for another sparkly winter holiday: New Year’s Eve. Now we know there’s only so much shopping centers can do for the big day, what with the midnight and alcohol issues, but that’s no reason not to make your shoppers’ New Year’s merry and bright, is it?
World Square Shopping Centre is prepping for a fantastic New Year’s Eve that it won’t get to participate in. Each week in the lead-up to Christmas, shoppers that drop $50 at any participating store will have a chance to enter a draw for some great NYE prizes.
The first two weeks start simply, with a $100 Grill’d voucher for a healthy New Year’s dinner. Week three is looking a bit more exciting, with 2 tickets to Cruise Bar’s Destination Party and a $100 dry clean voucher to convince the winners to haul their holiday best out of storage.
Week four is the big one, though, and describes a New Year’s Eve celebration we wouldn’t mind partaking in. Dinner and drinks for the winner and five friends at Fuku Sake & Wine Bar, the midnight countdown on the harbour at Cruise Bar’s party. Finally, the group will head to a great after-party destination: a penthouse apartment in Meriton World Tower.
