Westfield Old Orchard Hosts a Pre-Prom Party
While prom should be all about having fun, let’s face it: it’s a stressful night to prepare for. Westfield Old Orchard took some of that stress off the table with its Pre-Prom Party last week.
Students had a great chance to kick back and relax with fun, music and activities. A local DJ was on hand to spin the latest dance tunes and create that perfect prom ambience all afternoon. Old Orchard retailers got in the game and brought all sorts of refreshments to add to the fun.
Sticking to the teenage dream theme, a “candy bar” of sweet treats was available for snackers. To prepare for the photographic moments coming up at prom, shoppers could pile on amusing props and take their turn in front of the camera.
And finally, because it wouldn’t be a great prom event without a great cause, the center worked with The Glass Slipper Project to collect new and lightly used prom dresses, accessories and beauty products to provide to area teens in need. In exchange, shoppers got $10 in gift cards to use on their own prom planning.
