Vintage Park Saddles Up for a Cause
This summer, people in the market for some very unique horses will be shopping at a Houston-area lifestyle center.
Vintage Park is hosting a charity fundraiser over the summer in benefit of Northwest Assistance Ministries. “Saddle up for NAM” will see life-size fiberglass horses appearing throughout the center, starting au naturale and being painted by local artists over the course of the summer.
Members of the community can come visit the horses throughout their development. In the fall, once the horses are complete, they’ll be auctioned off at NAM’s Jeans & Jewels gala. And in the meantime, if a person or business wants to have a horse of their own for a while, they can donate $3500 to the cause and be given a horse of their choice to display for a week. They’ll also get a half-page ad in the gala program. If they just can’t live without their horse of choice and want to keep it off the auction block, a $10,000 sponsorship gets them ownership, a plaque and a full-page ad.
All money raised from the sponsorships will go to NAM.
