Vaughan Mills’ Holiday Stargazing
Vaughan Mills is encouraging shoppers to do a little holiday stargazing this year.
The center is open most statutory holidays, and it wants to make sure shoppers know it. So it’s rolling out the red carpet and inviting some familiar faces: celebrity look-alikes.
From 2-5pm on each stat holiday, the featured celebrities hang out, meet shoppers, snap pics and otherwise have a blast. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their smartphones along for the fun: those that snap a shot and share it on Instagram have a shot at winning a $100 gift card.
For the long weekend just past, the center had Captain Jack Sparrow and two lovely pirate lasses. The Labour Day holiday will feature Austin Powers and his GoGo dancers. Thanksgiving, currently the last planned holiday stargazing opportunity, will star a very convincing Jack Nicholson and Julia Roberts.
