We then hang these Posters up in our Centre for everyone to see. Each Class also receives an Entry to win a free lunch compliments of our Centre. We do not actually judge these Posters because of the difference in the ages. Another part of this Event is we invite the Local Conservation Authority and other clubs and committees to set up displays for free with the Earth Day theme!! We also have a contest for the staff of the stores and services in our Centre on Earth Day to win prizes. The categories are as follows: EARTH DAY – THURSDAY, APRIL 22ND ---WEAR YOUR BEST GREEN OR BLUE OUTFIT—WIN A PRIZE FOR: 1)BEST GREEN AND\OR BLUE OUTFIT 2)MOST INCONSPICIOUS GREEN OR BLUE OUTFIT 3)MOST HIDEOUS GREEN OR BLUE ACCESSORY 4)MOST CREATIVE GREEN OR BLUE DECORATED STORE SUPPORTING EARTH DAY Our entire Center is full of Earth Day displays for 12 days and this is our 3rd year and it is lots of fun for young and old!!
