The Time for Great Savings

Target knows that its shoppers believe in its brand promise – “Expect More. Pay Less.” So while it often offers a home decor event in the early months of the year, this year it’s doing more to make sure cash-strapped shoppers can fill their carts at a fraction of the competitors prices.

The goal of Target’s Great Save event is to give shoppers the warehouse-club experience without the membership fees or exclusive environment. Each participating Target location has set up a central area for the Great Save, replacing seasonal displays. To keep shoppers coming back, the retailer will be mixing in “Treasure Hunt” deals – heavily discounted designer brands that it doesn’t normally stock.

There’s sure to be a few empty pantries and cupboards that need restocking after the holidays, so the Great Save sounds like a great idea.
