The Rock Window Shops for Love

The Rock spent February encouraging shoppers to fall in love—in love with its retailer’s products, that is.

Every day in February, the center has pulled back the curtain on a heartbreaker of an item, one that’s sure to get the heart racing. These included limited edition Hugo Boss aftershave and Marc Jacobs perfume from The Perfume Shop, an Valentine’s edition Pandora pendant and chain, worth £110, from B Jewels, the ‘Tresor Paris’ celebrity bracelet du jour from Peter Jackson and a luxury hamper from Debenhams worth £200, including Estée Lauder, Clarins and Jon Richard goodies.

If shoppers become infatuated, it’s easy for them to get closer to their object of affection: they only have to take a photo of themselves next to it and upload it to Facebook to show off the growing romance. If they post the photo on the center’s page and tag themselves in it, they’ll have a chance to win the item they love.

“We love Valentine’s Day, and we wanted to make sure that all of our shoppers felt special,” said center director Arnold Wilcox-Wood. “Offering such great prizes gives us the chance to show our visitors how much we care.”
