The Potteries Hosts the Chatterbox Challenge

Some of the best cause marketing events are the ones that benefit everyone. I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge is an fundraising activity for kids – youngsters who get to have fantastic fun and develop their communication skills by singing songs and rhymes. While they’re at it, they also raise money for children who struggle with their speech and language.

Last year the charity brought together over 250,000 children, teaching them nursery rhymes and songs and raising almost £100,000 for children with communication difficulties. This year, The Potteries is one of three centers participating in Capital Shopping Centres’s Chatterbox Challenge week.

The day’s activities will include singing and rhyming sessions with Tiny Talk as well as face-painting and magic shows. Free goodie bags will be handed out to parents and families who visit the road show, packed full of information and resources on ways to develop children’s communication skills and fun filled activities such as coloring sheets from ‘Humf’, a popular Nick Jr. show.

Sounds like fun for the kids, a great break for the parents and a lot of money to be raised for a great cause.
