The Octagon Plans a Sweet Valentine’s Day

123chocolateIf the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and most women have weaknesses for chocolate, then The Octagon Shopping Centre is preparing its shoppers for a delightful Valentine’s Day.

Shoppers with a sweet tooth have two tasty opportunities to partake. First they can stop in at Kandy Factory and enjoy an activity well-planned for happy couples: chocolate making. The specialist chocolate makers are throwing a series of workshops for making chocolate pizzas, mini chocolate hearts, candy canes and even chocolate roses.

Diane Howe, Owner of Kandy Factory, says that the retailer’s Valentine Workshops prove very popular with shoppers, who know there’s no better way to say “I love you” than with chocolate.

The center is also showing off a custom-made Valentine’s cake courtesy of its resident cake-makers, HK Celebrations. Shoppers are invited to guess the weight of the cake over the course of two days, after which the person who makes the closest guess will get to take it home—just in time for Valentine’s Day.
