The Forum Brings Doctor Who to Easter

327whoAs Doctor Who fans eagerly await the next series of the popular science fiction program, The Forum Shopping Centre is using its Easter holidays to make the wait a little easier. Who’s in The Forum is an event for Whovians young and old.

The event is full of Doctor Who-inspired fun. Little ones can stretch their imaginations with Monster Making drop-in workshops. They can also dress up for the event with face painting, or go further with their own Who-inspired costumes for the fancy dress competitions.

Kids with a sense of adventure can take part in center-wide treasure hunts, and the very cleverest will enjoy a daily Doctor Who quiz. Kronos the Dalek will also make special appearances all day Saturday, April 12.

The center also has an exhibition of classic Who props and memorabilia to show off to shoppers.

Said Francesca Donovan, centre manager, “We are really looking forward to our Who’s in The Forum? event as we thought it would be fun to do something a little bit different this year. With a lot of activities planned there will be plenty for shoppers to see and do when they visit The Forum this Easter. As well as providing fun for the whole family, all money raised from this event will go to a great cause: the Sittingbourne Blind Fellowship.”
