A Taste of Success
Hamilton Place Mall had a delicious day earlier this month. The US shopping center started a new tradition with the first annual Taste of Hamilton Place.
The mall opened its doors on a Sunday evening to bring together 25 area restaurants and eateries with an estimated 700 attendees. The restaurants each served up samples of their best foods, and visitors went from station to station enjoying the treats and some live entertainment. For just a taste of what was served, one restaurant was serving samples of wood roasted chicken topped with goat cheese, white wine lemon butter, fresh basil and sun-dried tomatoes. Delicious. The shopping center also had a lucky panel of judges on hand to pick the best of the best.
Tickets were $35 for adults and $10 for children, and proceeds benefited the T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital Foundation. The event was, by all reports, a resounding success – and for more information about the event and its results, watch it in an upcoming issue of Tactics Magazine.
