Sydney Celebrates Fashion’s Night Out
It’s that time again. It’s Fashion’s Night Out, and shopping centers and fashion retailers around the world are celebrating.
Sydney, Australia has joined the Fashion’s Night Out host cities, and Sydney shopping centers are some of the first to celebrate the big night. The events are largely retailer-led, but centers are sure to benefit too.
Midcity Centre has plenty of events planned to mark the occasion. Style icon Alex Perry will be on hand at Diva to launch a fashion range for which he partnered with the retailer. Some lucky shoppers who purchased from the range today will have their photos taken with Perry. He’s far from the only fashion celebrity that will be on-hand at the shopping center, and shoppers also have the chance to enjoy swag, mini-manicures, style treatments, makeovers, discounts and workshops.
Westfield Sydney Central Plaza is also getting in on the action. The shopping center has compiled a program filled with deals and discounts for shoppers who hit the center tonight. And retailers aren’t slouching: Jacqui E has a fashion illustrator on hand to create live portraits for shoppers who spend over $150, while Myer has a grab bag of fashion designers on hand to show off their lines and offer fashion tips.
