Stilettos Away at Vaughan Mills
Vaughan Mills and STYLESENSE are working together to bring in money for Look Good Feel Better, a Canadian charity that helps women feel good about their appearance while undergoing treatment for cancer, and they’re doing so by hosting a run. If a retailer that sells designer shoes hosts a run for charity, the twist is easy to guess: oh yes, this will be a Stiletto Sprint.
This is the third year for the STYLESENSE Stiletto Sprint, and this one’s bigger and better than ever. Not only are all registration costs donated to the charity, but there’s a $10,000 top prize to win. This year’s race will also be broadcast on Toronto’s Breakfast Television.
For the ladies races (the main event), participants will be divided up to run short qualifying runs. The top seeded runners will move on to the STYLESENSE Stiletto Sprint 100 metre Women’s Final where they can compete for the big prize. Not only can will the winner take home $10,000 in cash, but the second and third pace winners will receive $2,500 and $1,000 respectively. Men are also welcome, but since they’re likely to have less experience running in heels, they’ve got their own category. The winner of the men’s race will take home a $1000 prize. For the first time this year, the run includes a race just for cancer survivors.
Aside from the chance of winning the race, every participant will be entered in a draw for a $5000 Vaughan Mills shopping spree. Everyone will also receive a STYLESENSE goodie bag.
