Stadion Center’s Rooftop Stadium Kicks Off First Season
The options for what to do with your rooftop real estate are almost endless these days—we’ve seen everything from the typical parking lot to far-less common apiaries, and rooftop gardens and dining terraces are practically common fare now. Stadion Shopping Center in Belgrade, however, might just have taken the prize for most efficient use of its rooftop space: FK Vozdovac has built an entire football stadium up there, taking just about every square inch of the space.
The football club has just posted a video of the stadium in action. According to Who Ate All The Pies, the 5,200-capacity Vozdovac Stadium opened in March. FK Vozdovac played its first league fixture there this month, ending in a 1-1 draw with Jagodina.
