Shrek the Halls this Holiday Season
Shrek The Musical is opening in Arizona early in January, and two area shopping centers have taken the opportunity to Shrek the Halls this holiday season.
Market Street and DC Ranch Crossing are filling the holidays with a number of Shrek-themed events. It starts with Market Street’s tree lighting, later this month. While the shopping center illuminates its traditional 18 ft. Christmas tree, shoppers will enjoy a special video greeting from the cast of the musical and live performances of popular Shrek show tunes and holiday carols by VOICES Studio choir. There will be hot cocoa to enjoy while children have a shot at decorating Gingy the gingerbread man (one of Shrek’s buddies, who also happens to be a tasty treat) for a holiday snack.
Over the holidays, shoppers at both centers can redeem $200 in same-day receipts for a complimentary pair of tickets to see Shrek the Musical in January, a gift which should help round out the Christmas list for plenty of shoppers.
Finally, shoppers at the center can enter to win a family four-pack of tickets to see the show, and an invitation to the cast party afterward.
