Robina Town Centre Holds One Awesome Auction
This weekend, Robina Town Centre is putting on an event that’s undeniably awesome: AwesomeAuction4Wishes, to be precise.
The auction benefits the Gold Coast branch of Make-A-Wish Australia, and tons of retailers from both the center and surrounding area have donated items for bid. There are so many items on auction, in fact, that the event is going to be a World Record attempt. If successful, they’ll manage to auction over 400 items continuously without a break.
Tony Mansfield, the Auctioneer for the event, should be more than up for the task. He’s a top licensed auctioneer in Queensland, regularly conducting both real estate and charity auctions. In the field, he’s known as “One More Bid,” a great sign for his ability to get top dollar.
To keep shoppers going throughout the marathon auction, there will be a special mega item auctioned off each hour on the hour. There will also be celebrity visitors like Olympic swimming champion Melanie Schlanger stopping by for autographs, entertainment, and more surprises.
