Richmond Centre is Lucky for Shoppers

Canada’s Richmond Centre is keeping a close relationship with its shoppers all year round with its 365 Lucky Days campaign.

At the start of the year, the shopping center distributed a calendar filled with paintings of the center and the local community. That’s 365 days of connection with its shoppers. But to keep them interested, the center added an incentive to hold on to the calendar year round: each month, the center puts up a riddle for shoppers to answer. A hint to each month’s answer is in that month’s calendar image.

Shoppers can enter on the contest microsite. Each month, a winner is drawn, and that winner takes home a $500 gift card for the center. But shoppers who return to the site every month, and correctly respond to all thirteen riddles (December 2009 – December 2010) have a shot at a much bigger prize: an $8888 gift card at the end of the year. A lucky number for a lucky winner who keeps loyal and engaged with the center all year ’round.

Richmond Centre auctioned off all the original paintings earlier this month at a charity gala benefiting Richmond Hospital Foundation.
