Redmond Town Center Rallies Seahawks Fans
The Seattle Seahawks are just days away from the Super Bowl now, but on January 18 the team was still one game from securing its stop in the big game. Redmond Town Center got shoppers and Seahawks fans together for the Volume 12 Fan Rally.
Volume 12 is a fan organization dedicated to making sure Seahawks fans are some of the best fans around. The fans themselves are considered ‘the 12th man,’ or the honorary 12th player in the game.
The rally included musical performances by Midstokke Music, followed by a fan dedication by Volume 12. The group dedicated the recent Guiness World Record for loudest crowd cheer to the 12th Man—for the record, a cheer of 137.6 decibels.
Former Seahawks players showed up to cheer their team on to their winning game, including Norm Johnson, Joe Tafoya, and Kerry Carter. The evening also featured special performances by rising hip hop stars Eric Keith and LaVell, and superstar recording artist Xola Malik (best known as Kid Sensation).
