QV Melbourne’s Summer Sounds
QV Melbourne is wrapping up a summer of celebration of all the good things in life—music, food, drinks and fun.
QV Summer Sounds gave shoppers something to enjoy every week this month. Bands like Evermore, The Zanes and Eagle & The Worm played shows. There was also the Pie Face Pie Jam, with six singer-songwriters performing throughout the day for first prize while shoppers enjoyed free Pie Face mini pies.
Last week, shoppers got to enjoy the best of Melbourne’s busking culture during the Street Change Busking Concert. The Rotary Club hosted the show, which pitted ten of the city’s best buskers against each other for the title of Melbourne’s Best Busker. It was voted on by the audience in the most appropriate way possible: with their spare change. The funds raised were donated to HomeGuard Services and the winning busker took home $500.
The center eateries offered deals throughout the month, so there could be eats and treats to go with the beats. Fashion retailers also got in on the act too.
