Prepared for Prom?
Liberty Tree Mall is getting kids ready for Prom with a great event. Prom Expo 2009 gives retailers the chance to exhibit their prom goodies to eager students.
The event starts with a dance contest, followed by a fashion show. Teens will also have the chance to enter a Design a Dress contest, which will be judged by Marian Court College students majoring in Fashion Merchandising. The students will also select the outfits and provide commentary for the men’s fashion show. Shoppers can donate gently used prom dresses for charity.
The first 100 attendees will be given goody bags of samples and offers, and one lucky attendee will win the Grand Prize Prom Package.
Putting all the pieces of prom preparation in one place is a fantastic idea, and this event involves many members of the local community and mall retailers. Doesn’t sound like it could get much better than that.
