PLAY THE BLUES
Rødovre Centrum in Denmark is taking part in the Copenhagen Blues Festival this month. From September 24 – 28, the shopping center will be hosting concerts by Danish and international blues stars.
Performances at the center include opener Kenn Lending, the Delta Blues Band, and the Copenhagen Blues Brothers. Rødovre Centrum also has a special international treat this year – rising American blues artist Eric Bibb. Bibb combines his blues heritage with acoustic inspiration from Bob Dylan.
This is the eighth year for the festival, which promotes interest in the blues, and spotlights local blues artists.
