Park Royal Celebrates Summer
Summer is almost here, and it’s time to celebrate. The Village at Park Royal sure is, all through July and August.
It starts with Canada Day, with maple leaf tattoos and Canadian flags for all, but it goes throughout the summer with all kinds of fun events. Every Tuesday there are parent and tot play dates planned, with face painting, crafts, balloons and magic shows. Every Wednesday and Friday shoppers can expect live jazz, pop and indie music, along with live DJing.
On weekends, shoppers can relax with the help of complementary valet service. Once out in the Village, bike cruise-cabs will be available to take shoppers around the easy way.
July 13 will be a special day. The (Candadian) center is working with the Seattle Seahawks in partnership with the NFL to hold their first ever tailgate party at the center. It comes complete with a beer garden, great food, summer jams, and Seahawks cheerleaders. There will also be video highlights, interactive displays for kids and a few players on-hand to sign autographs.
The center also plans to take the opportunity to say “thanks” to its shoppers for staying loyal and patient through a pretty significant redevelopment. For one weekend in July and another in August, it will bring together all the great summer activities together with all kinds of giveaways and good times in massive customer appreciation weekends.
