Park Place LookBook Saves Stylish Shoppers Time
Finding that perfect marriage between the convenience of both online and brick-and-mortar shopping: it might be every shopping center marketer’s dream. Park Place, Leawood hopes to offer that ideal combination with its LookBook program.
The LookBook is a new digital initiative that allows the center’s upscale shoppers to shop online, night or day, for complete, curated outfits. The center’s director of marketing, Amy Kraft, sees the LookBook as an important brand-building strategy, and a natural extension of the center’s commitment to customer service.
Shoppers can visit the center’s website from the comfort of home and browse through the crème de la crème of the season’s looks. Those looks are put together by stylist Melanie Knopke, who combs the center’s shops to identify the top trends, assemble tunrkey outfits and highlight individual must-haves for men, women and children.
She then styles models with her finds and shares them on the LookBook with full descriptions, locations and pricing information. If that were all, it might save shoppers the effort of sourcing their own outfits, but Park Place takes it further. Visitors can purchase entire looks or single items, or they can reach out to the center with any pressing questions. Their purchases are gathered by the center’s concierge staff, who contact them to finalize details.
