Pacific Fair’s Extreme Australia Day Plans
Australia Day is just around the corner, and Pacific Fair is playing it extreme.
All around the holiday, the center is holding a series of Extreme Sports events—adrenalin-fuelled shows featuring the best Moto X, pro-skate and BMX performances. Big names like Kain Saul and Brad Burch will take the stage to show off their most thrilling work.
Once shoppers are all amped up, the center will give them plenty of opportunities to burn off that extra energy. Rides, a side-show alley, competitions and activities will fill the center’s halls, accompanied by a live DJ and the sounds of a Tap Dogs workshop.
On Australia Day itself, shoppers will have the chance to participate in some good old fashioned outdoor fun. Sack races and egg and spoon races will rile up the competition, as will a thong throwing contest (thongs, in this case, being of the flip-flop type). There will also be an Australian-Inspired Fashion Parade.
Wrapping up the ‘extreme’ weekend, shoppers who spend more than $50 in any one store at the center before the big day will have a chance to enter to win an Extreme Break—a trip to Queenstown complete with flights, accommodation and extreme activities.
