Pacific Centre Shows its St. Patrick’s Day Colors
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and Pacific Centre is getting its green on.
The center is a huge part of Vancouver CelticFest, which takes over the city with concerts, dance performances, scotch tastings, workshops, films, and a lot more. There are dozens of events throughout CelticFest, but Pacific Centre has done a great job of positioning itself at the heart of the festival.
Its in-center contribution is a series of free lunchtime concerts. Four Canadian Celtic performances fill the lunch hour each day of the festival in the center’s main plaza. As an urban center, there is plenty of opportunity for Pacific Center to pick up lunchtime visitors, and these performances give visitors one more good reason to spend their lunch hours at the mall.
Pacific Centre is also presenting the wildly popular 7th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
