Oakwood Mall Takes Dad to the Ball Game
I’m a hockey girl, myself, but for baseball fans out there, Oakwood Mall and other General Growth centers have the ultimate Father’s Day plan.
Between now and June 18, shoppers who check in to the center on Foursquare earn a chance to win a great Father’s Day prize package. After checking in, they’re emailed with a link to sign up for the sweepstakes. If they win, they’ll be able to give dad a family pack of tickets for MLB All-Star Game on July 12, $1,000 in Shop Etc. Mall Gift Cards and a hotel stay at a AAA Four-Diamond hotel. The winning family will also enjoy a family golf outing on the resort’s 18-hole golf course.
“We’re continually looking for fun and interactive ways to engage our shoppers – especially through social media. This is the first time we’ve used Foursquare for a mall promotion and we’re excited for our customers to participate,” said Lesley Cheers, director of public relations for GGP. “And baseball, summer and dad all go hand-and-hand so it’s the perfect sweepstakes.”
