Cascades Shopping Centre in Hampshire, UK, has another fun team up for the fall fashion season. Participants in its Style Icon competition will have two chances to win. One winner will be crowned the Face of Cascades for 2008/2009. The title comes with an impressive prize package worth several thousand pounds, and promotional responsibilities to the shopping centre. One of the winner’s first official acts will be to light up the shopping centre for the Christmas season.
As if that weren’t enough, this year Cascades is teaming up with Portsmouth Football Club. Two lucky Style Icon participants will also become the Faces of Pompey, and help represent the football club in many events. This should help the contest bring in attention from outside the shopping center’s usual demographics.
