Metropolis at Metrotown Gets Gross
Animals can be cute and cuddly, but they can also be downright gross. That’s the idea behind Animal Grossology, a traveling educational exhibit currently at Metropolis at Metrotown.
The exhibit itself is filled with the stuff kids love, and you can read more about it here. Animated characters come alive to gross kids out, and activity stations keep them having fun while learning all about the animal kingdom. A Dung Ball Rally might not sound like your idea of fun, but for kids out of school, it’s pretty much awesome.
To promote and enhance the event, Metrotown has set up a fantastic, if slightly less educational, microsite for the Great Gross Out. Visitors can put together their ultimate gross creature out of dozens of parts on the website. If they enter the associated contest, they could take the Judges’ prize of a $1000 gift card. The entry with the most votes will get $500.
