Melbourne Central’s One-Day Fashion Week
Melbourne Central is packing all the fun of a fashion season into one short day this week, as the center holds its One Day Shopping Festival. It’s part of the center’s contribution to the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, and it sees the center open till 10pm for the first time.
The day’s plans are expansive, with over 200 retailer offers on tap. Those are just a tiny part of the whole, however, with costume exhibitions, pop-up beauty bars and even a free screening of the incredibly fashionable The Great Gatsby. Oh, and food trucks. Can’t forget the food trucks.
The first 200 customers to customer service at 10am can also participate in a fashionable treasure hunt: 11 retailers have gifts tucked away for participants, and those that are there early to claim a free bag can hunt them down. Later, the first 100 customers at customer service at 7pm can register to collect free samples from a selection of the center’s tastiest food retailers.
