Mall of America and Caribou Coffee Get Pinteresting
Caribou Coffee might just have itself a first: the first coffee created on Pinterest. To celebrate claiming that unusual honor, the company took its love of Pinterest even further. It built a larger-than-life Pinterest Board to decorate four storeys of Mall of America.
So how do you make a coffee from Pinterest? You ask your fans to share what inspires them. Then you hand-pick 250 of the best photos and captions of the bunch, and lay them before your Caribou Roastmasters. They work their strange alchemy, and before you know it you have Real Inspiration Blend.
Pinterest tastes like “a sweet and subtle light roast with hints of toasted marshmallow,” apparently.
The display at Mall of America is a mighty one, with photos that inspire and are inspired by Caribou. On the floor are neglected Pinterest pins, giant Caribou cups and samples galore. And if you want to see Real Inspiration in its full, visual glory, the brand has put together a board to represent it online.
The deep sea diving and campfires do look delicious.
