Lakeside Gives Back for its Birthday
For its 21st birthday, Lakeside Shopping Centre has made a commitment. This year, the shopping center will do 21 good deeds for its community.
Both Lakeside and St. Luke’s Hospice turn 21 this year, so the Hospice was an obvious choice to launch the 21 Good Deeds campaign. Staff from departments throughout the centre, including Customer Services, Marketing and Technical Services, took time out from their usual activities to lend a helping hand. Armed with sanding tools, paintbrushes and plenty of good will, they revamped the hospice for its staff and residents.
With 20 more good deeds to do this year, Lakeside’s community is certain to benefit from the gifts of this birthday.
