Keeping Shoppers Up-To-Date
Some US malls are working hard to keep shoppers up to date. With shopping centers and retailers investing in the latest and greatest technology and social mediums, this seems like a particularly sensible investment.
Hardester Shopping Center is promoting its new wi-fi internet hotspot at it’s annual Spring Fling. The shopping center is bringing in experts on social media platforms like Twitter and Squidoo to educate shoppers about the modern Internet. And this, of course, is on top of a delightful selection of live music, tasty food, and fun and games.
Meanwhile Mesa Mall is looking to hire a local teen for a new position: the Teen Life Stylist. Whoever is chosen for the part-time, paid position will be responsible for helping older shoppers select gifts for teens, along with being a spokeperson for the mall’s back-to-school, prom and graduation campaigns. He or she is expected to be on the top of teen trends, knowing the hottest trends in gadgets and fashion.
