It’s Family Time at Westfield Centers

Still riding high on the success of the last two years, Westfield is launching the third year of its Westfield Family program.

This year, the program has rolled out to 30 of Westfield’s U.S. shopping centers, and it’s looking better than ever. Westfield talked to the moms that shop at its centers and built on its previous success to plan this year’s program. Moms wanted more consistent and intimate family events, so this year’s program will include twice-monthly events that include story time, arts and crafts, snacks and special entertainers.

Each month’s event has a theme, and moms that take part in the program will receive a Westfield calendar featuring educational tips and ideas based on the month’s theme. The program began in April with “The Great Outdoors,” and continues in May with “Get Fit.”

Returning this year are ongoing classics: signature events like “Spooktacular” and “Back to School,” and family amenities that include preferential, covered parking for families and expectant mothers, play spaces, family dining areas, family lounges/restrooms,
and concierge services. The goal is to ensure families know they can visit Westfield centers for a stree-free shopping experience.

To kick things off, Westfield asked kids to “Tell Us Why Your Mom’s a Star” on film. The family of the winning cinematographer will enjoy a $2,500 shopping spree, a year of VIP parking at their local Westfield, and will star on the cover of the Westfield Family Monthly Calendar.
