intu Potteries Seeks Holiday Twishlists

1205twishlistintu Potteries is on the lookout for what shoppers really want this Christmas with the launch of its first holiday Twishlist.

What’s a ‘Twishlist,’ you ask? It’s a holiday wishlist shared on Twitter—a simple but effective idea. Tech-savvy shoppers can tweet anything available from intu Potteries retailers with the hashtag #Twishlist to enter to win their holiday twish (yes, this is also a word intu has coined for the contest).

“We are really excited about launching the UK’s first Twishlist and connecting with our shoppers not just in our centres, but also via social media this Christmas,” said Sandrine Rutter, center Marketing Manager. “Millions of people shop at intu shopping centres every Christmas and we are giving them, as well as the rest of the UK, a special—very modern—way of telling us what they want from Santa this festive season.”

Of course, by entering shoppers not only get a chance to draw the imaginations of the contest’s judges—they also give their Twitter followers a heads-up about just what products they’d like from intu Potteries for Christmas. Sneaky, sneaky.
