Dubai may be a huge tourist destination, but in the midst of the summer heat it can be hard to get locals to stick around and enjoy the sights on hand.
Dubai Summer Surprises entices locals to stick around for a “staycation” at home with a great selection of summertime events and opportunities. One of those events is being held at Festival Centre: The House of Illusion.
Combining music, comedy, and illusion with a three course meal, the event offers a fantastic evening out for as little as 100 AED (about 27 USD).Directed by Tony Award nominee Derek Scott and emceed by Romany – Diva of Mystery, the show features illusionist Van Buren, who eschews flashy lights and distractions for a simple but fascinating show. The House of Illusion also takes place in a Spiegeltent dating back to the 1920s, a spectacle on its own.
