A Hot Summer for Shopping in the UAE
An assortment of summer shopping festivals are in full swing in the UAE, and so far it looks like another successful year.

The opening ceremonies were the biggest and longest yet, DSS has grown from 600,000 visitors at its inception in 1998 to its inception to over 2 million visitors a year in recent years. Malls are hosting entertainment troupes from around the world, with jugglers, illusionists and carnivals keeping the atmosphere upbeat.
Meanwhile Al Ain has launched its first summer shopping festival, hoping to set itself apart as a shopping destination. As part of it, Bawadi Mall is holding “Round the World in 80 days” to celebrate. Over the next couple months, the mall will be bringing in troupes from 11 countries around the world to entertain visitors. There’s also a 10,000 sq ft.
