High Tea for Aukland’s Best Moms at Botany Town Centre

Botany Town Centre has had its full attention on moms over the last couple months. Last month, the center let shoppers film their appreciation for their moms. This month, the center held a private high tea to celebrate its 10th anniversary and Aukland’s best mothers were invited. These moms were the finalists of last month’s ‘Best Mum’ contest.

Some special moms, their daughters and their friends all came to the center’s Sunset Terrace over the weekend to enjoy the Permission To Think About You High Tea. The tea was catered with silver service by Robert Harris Café, and special guest Paula Midgley showed off her skills as Nestle New Zealand’s Hottest Home Baker winner. The 30 VIP guests all enjoyed the tasty benefits of Paula’s talents.

Melany Adams, a mother of five, was crowned Overall Best Mum, having been nominated three times by each of her daughters. They praised her unwavering dedication to the family, which includes an intellectually disabled eight-year-old.

“It was an absolute delight to celebrate and honour these great mums in our community not only on Mother’s Day, but throughout the month,” says Botany Town Centre senior marketing manager Desiree Clark. “In hosting the Permission to Think About You High Tea, we wanted to give mums some undivided ‘YOU’ time to relax and think about themselves for a change.”
