Haute Dogs Head to Queen’s Quay
Dog owners are in for a treat. Next month, Queen’s Quay Terminal is rolling out the red carpet for its furry friends with the first annual Haute Dog event.
The three-day event is absolutely bursting with fun activities for animal lovers and their best buds. Pups can take a turn on the runway after signing up and slipping on their limited edition Haute Dog bandanas. As they strut their scarf styles down the red carpet, the ‘pawparazzi’ will hold out for a perfect shot, one that will be instantly emailed to the family and posted in a gallery on the center’s website.
The photos will also make it into a draw for three more people-oriented prizes, including a dinner cruise and gift cards. Thousands of instant prizes and coupons will also be on offer.
After their photo session, dogs can refresh and recharge with a free wag bag, filled with treats and coupons and samples for both man and his best friend.
That’s only one part of the fun. The center also has a top local vet on hand to answer questions throughout the event, free caricatures available, and a meet and greet with dog trainers and dog guides. Hungry humans can also partake in the Haute Dog hot dog barbecue, benefiting Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.
