Harlem Irving Plaza has pretty much one of the best acronyms you could ask for: HIP. And it hasn’t been shy about making the best use of it they can.
Last year it was the HIPster Dictionary. This year it’s the bHIP Operations Manual, which plays off of tablet designs. Both are clever wrappers for a great annual promotion. Each month it gives shoppers a chance to get free tickets to local entertainment like John Hancock Observatory, Chicago Whitesox, Sesame Street Live and more. All they have to do is is spend 100$ on gift cards, flip to the right month in the manual and pick up their free gift.
Each month shoppers take advantage of the deal, they’ll also get a stamp. At the end of the year they can tally their stamps – with six or more, they’ll be rewarded with a $50 HIP Gift Card. A full 12 stamps is worth a $100 HIP Gift Card.
