Halton Lea Plants for the Future
Halton Lea has been hard at work this year, establishing itself environmentally. With the Bee Aware campaign that it’s committed to this year, the shopping center’s has used nearly every facet of its marketing this year to focus on the environment.
The UK shopping center is working with two local primary schools to involve children in its recycling efforts, from collecting Christmas cards for The Woodland Trust to spending quality time with Recycler the Robot. Its latest effort helps both the kids and the environment. Representatives from the shopping center visited the schools with well-known conservationist Professor David Bellamy and members of Tree Appeal. Together, and with the five youngest students at Hillview Primary School, they planted saplings that will grow into shade and play areas, learning resources, and wildlife habitat. At Moore Primary School, more trees were planted, and one student planted a tree in memorial to his late father.
These are contributions to the local community that won’t be soon forgotten. Halton Lea, in doing its part for the environment, is creating living memories for a future generation of loyal shoppers.
