Grossmont Center Gives Dad the Man Cave He Deserves
The Man Cave is a time honored tradition, and with Father’s Day just around the corner it might be a good one to revive. On June 8th, Grossmont Center will be giving away the Ultimate Man Cave—a room which any man (or anyone, really) would be happy to escape into.
Together with 101KGB, Jerome’s Furniture and San Diego Grill Pros, the center is giving away an impressive set of man cave trappings, including a 3D flatscreen tv, a power recliner, a Weber BBQ, a beer fridge, golf clubs, a guitar and more. The center has the whole works set up in a display at the moment, and shoppers can visit and scan a QR code to enter. They can also enter by visiting customer service.
On the 8th, one lucky winner will be crowned King of the man cave after taking part in the Live Click Off. The center and 101KGB are in the process of pulling together 101 qualifying finalists, each of whom will enjoy a $15 gift certificate to a local Irish pub.
On the big day, each of them will have a chance to pick up a remote control and aim it at the display’s TV. One of 101 remotes is tuned to the TV: the contestant that picks the one that turns it on will get to take the whole package home.
To keep things fun for the rest of the crowd, there will be a live broadcast by 101KGB, live music from the Cat-illacs, a complementary Taco Bar and a classic car show.
