Giving is Glam at Westfield Valley Fair
As part of its celebrations for Earth Day’s 40th anniversary, Westfield Valley Fair pulled out all the stops to support a local wildlife rehabilitation center.
Giving Back Goes Glam was a fundraiser for the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley, an organization dedication to rehabilitating and releasing wild animals, and educating the public about wild species.
The event was a fashion show that included music, food, entertainment and the latest fashions from a number of mall retailers.
“The Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley is honored to have its mission of rehabilitating sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife supported by Westfield Valley Fair’s Earth Day event,” commented Jennifer Constantin, Operations Coordinator at the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley. “Working together we can foster a greater understanding and appreciation for our diverse local wildlife.”
Tickets cost $25.00, and all proceeds went to the wildlife center. Ticket holders also received an exclusive VIP gift bag that included cosmetics and a $50 gift card from a center retailer, and any shoppers inspired by the show to make purchases that day totaling $100 or more were given an eco-friendly tote bag and a chance to win a $500 shopping spree at Westfield Valley Fair.
